HARVEST FESTIVAL

Each year ADB hosts a Harvest Festival, the proceeds of which benefit the Arts at ADB - specifically the ADB
Performance Group, choir, band and folklorico group and Arts Alive.

This year, once again, our groups are hosting the Harvest Festival in October.  The Harvest Festival is one of the main fundraisers for the Performing Arts at ADB.

What Our Students Do

Arts Alive

Welcome to the Arts Alive program at Antonio Del Buono School.

This is an art appreciation program implemented in grades TK through 5th by a volunteer art director and parent docents.

The  annual art show is the end result, displaying the many projects and techniques taught in class.

Arts Alive - Kinder

Fifth grade students elect student council officers. The Student Council members plan school wide activities and moderate the monthly schoolwide Wonder Wolf Assemblies for fourth and fifth grades.  They also sponsor school spirit days

Folklorico Group

The ADB Performance Group

Antonio Del Buono's Performance Group is a cross grade level group open to students of any age and grade level. They are dedicated student performers and their parents who meet each week to learn about Creative Movement, the craft of choreography and the discipline of performance skills.  In 2017-2018, theee will be a spring performance.  More details to follow.

PARTICIPATION

Typically when we start, there can be an unprecedented 60-80 student dancer/actor applicants to the ADB Performance Group. Students study the craft of theater and the skills of dance two to three days a week after school.  As part of their contract, parents agree to volunteer at least two hours of their time per month to help us produce the Performance Group.
